Description

In 2018, electricity consumption in Portugal increased by 2.9% when compared to 2017. The percentage of electricity produced from renewable sources was around 50% [provisional DGEG data].
Non-residential and government owned buildings represent 29% of electricity consumption in buildings [PORDATA].
These number clearly point to a need to better energy efficiency in all sectors. In particular, in the building sector it is essential to intervene in non-residential buildings and with intensive consumption.
